Our Die Production Process
Before the Die Design Begins
- Customer submits extrusion profile drawings
- Detailed manufacturability evaluation is conducted
- Technical and commercial feedback is provided
- Consultation with the Extrusion Die Engineering Team
Our aim is to optimise the profile for both performance and cost-efficiency before production begins.
Agreement & Die Design Development
Once approval is received Ozbros proceed to:
- Die design and development officially begins
- CAD and CAM systems are utilised
- Simulation software ensures optimal flow balance and structural integrity
- Manufacturing of the extrusion die is initiated
Every stage is monitored to ensure strict compliance with customer tolerances.
After Die Manufacturing
Once the die is completed:
- Trial extrusion runs are conducted
- First sample profiles are produced
- Dimensional and mechanical checks are performed
- Samples are submitted to the customer for approval
Serial production begins only after customer confirmation.
